What You Can Expect When You Visit New Hope Chiropractic:On your first visit Denise will give you paper work to fill out before meeting with the Doctor.Consultation: After filling out your paper work Dr. Lincoln will spend the necessary time discussing your condition to determine if chiropractic care can be of benefit to you. Chiropractic Exam: After your consultation Dr Lincoln will perform a chiropractic exam to determine if you have a subluxation. Dr Lincoln will perform a surface electromyograph exam to evaluate your spinal muscles. He will use a nervo scope to pin point exactly where you are experiencing nerve irritation. If Dr. Lincoln determines it is necessary, x-rays will be taken and analyzed. Report Of Findings: After your examination Dr. Lincoln will give a complete report of findings to explain what it is he has found and how chiropractic can help you. What Chiropractic Treats: Chiropractic treats subluxations of the spine. A subluxation is a misalignment of a spinal bone that causes and endangering stress to you spinal column, spinal cord and nervous system. Research has shown that a subluxation may cause unwanted health conditions that are effectively treated by chiropractic care. Adjustment: An adjustment is a specific force applied to a spinal bone in a specific direction to put a misaligned vertebra back into its proper position. |  |
